It’s not just a job, it’s a way of life. Keeping children and their families together since 1988, Topeka’s Ronald McDonald House Charities is recruiting for an Assistant House Manager. Shifts are Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:30 am – 5 pm, and every other Friday, 7:30 am – 5 pm. Within six months of hire, advancement opportunity to House Manager (with a $3/hour raise) is available! The Assistant House Manager works with the House Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the Ronald McDonald House, ensuring the smooth delivery of guest services, the facility’s safe and efficient operation, and an atmosphere of warmth and support for guest families. Successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in managing a household and/or housekeeping; strong customer service and computer skills; be self-motivated, at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED, and able pass a KBI background check. Other position requirements include ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds; willingness to obtain and provide proof of annual influenza vaccination and follow all RMHC infection control protocols.
