Meet Jaci Vogel, member of our RMHC Advisory Leadership Council. She worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 28 years and currently serves as Public Works Deputy Director of Transportation Operations for the City of Topeka. Jaci has volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House for the past two years and chose to do so because of the home-away-from-home we provide to families while their infants are in the hospital. She understands the stress on a family while having an infant in the hospital. In 1987, Jaci’s three-month-old niece was diagnosed with a brain tumor with a bleak prognosis. With never-ending time in and out of hospitals, she is pleased to say her niece is now 31 years old and a delightful young lady who has beat all odds! Jaci is motivated to make a difference in the community both through her professional career of public service and personal volunteer time with RMHC. We are blessed to have her as one of our volunteer leaders!
